Hi Babes! I know I've been neglecting you beauties. Last week was one of the hardest weeks of my life. My little one and I got sick (thrush!) and I went back to work.
While I am so happy to have a job that allows me the flexibility of working without leaving my baby for an extended period of time, it's still so hard to leave him! Everytime I get ready to leave, I am such a stress ball. I think, "I'm not ready yet. This is too much. I can't leave him."
And every time I get in the car, I crank up the music, roll down the windows and I'm overjoyed to have some time to myself. It's a tricky thing this mommy business.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that whether your a mama or not, getting out of the house is the hardest part. Once I'm out, I'm as happy as can be and although I'm still recovering from last week's illness, my workout makes me so happy for the remainder of the day. I've been playing these songs to keep me motivated...
I know how hard it can be to hit the gym. If I can do it, so can you. I've got 10 pounds left to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and I'm confident I'll be there in no time.
One good part about getting sick is that I've had to cut out all sugar and starchy foods. Now that's a diet plan! Stay tuned later this week because I've got some gooooood stuff coming x
