Fall is here... Let's Get Fit
Welp. It's officially fall. The leaves are falling, the days are shorter, and if you've lost your fitness mojo, you're not alone. Even here in sunny SoCal the weather has changed and I don't feel like I'll be flaunting my physique in that bikini anytime soon. Not to mention, there's nothing like a bit of comfort food to take the chill out of the air.
So, where's the inspiration to workout? Turns out there's not a whole lot. From Halloween into the New Year, the average American will gain anywhere from 5-10 pounds. Yikes.
Now I don't know about you, but I certainly don't want to gain weight ( on or off the beach). The solution remains in my workouts. If I'm going to indulge in a few more holiday treats (Lord knows I do), I better workout that much harder.
I challenge you this year to make fitness a priority. Make it a lifestyle change that affects you in ways you never thought possible. The thing is, it's going to take more than imagining what you'll look like in your bathing suit. Feeling sluggish? I think I know the solution...
Get up, workout and change your life for good. What if instead of gaining weight this time of the year, you actually lost weight? Get excited to fall into fitness. There's no better time than right now. And remember at Beach Babe Fitness we aren't just skinny for summer, we're fit for life. xo
