Tucks for a Tighter Tummy

Hi Babes! Today I share with you a great abdominal exercise sequence. With a baby on the way, I've only got a few more weeks where I can still do some of these exercises, so I better work it while I can!

Contrary to popular belief, you can still do abdominal exercises while pregnant. In fact, strengthening the core will help when pushing and with recovery. It's also important to strengthen your back as you get ready to support all that extra weight! Throughout my entire pregnancy I can do pelvic tucks (the first part of this video) and plank position (last part of this video). But, when I reach 20 weeks I'll have to modify a few things as I stop lying on my back.

Whether you're pregnant or not, this sequence will be a challenge. You will definitely feel the burn as we tighten the tummy and strengthen the core. Make sure you don't use your back or neck during this exercise. I really want you to focus on drawing your navel into the spine and making every movement count. Pair this with one of my HIIT workouts or combine it with other Beach Babe exercise videos.

Recommended Equipment:
Pilates Ball (like this one) or a rolled up towel or pillow for lower back support.
