Stay the Course

Did you burn out yet? Did you forget that we are still only in the first month of 2014? All those resolutions you made just 2 weeks ago may start to feel like a distant, hopeful memory at this point. Your muscles are fatigued from hitting the gym too many days in a row and you just couldn't resist that cookie one day more. Here's the good news, you don't have to beat yourself up if you're getting side tracked. It's nearly impossible to "never eat junk food again" or to "never skip a day at the gym."

I want you to re-think your 2014 goals, right now. Write them down and put them in a place where you will see them everyday (maybe in your closet, over your desk or in the bathroom). Visualize.

Most importantly, don't be too hard on yourself. 2014 isn't about being perfect, it's about being better.

If you haven't made any resolutions yet, it's not too late. In fact, now may be the perfect time to take a realistic picture of your life without all the holiday hoopla.

I'm sure 2014 will prove to be an incredible year for me… it already is! I've always tried to set specific goals for myself in both my personal and professional life. But this year, with a baby on the way every goal outside of bringing a healthy baby into the world seems insignificant. With that being said,  I do have big plans for Beach Babe Fitness and I'd really like to actually make all the recipes that I pin on Pinterest…. hey, sometimes it's the little things!
