Water Challenge




We've all been told to drink more water. We know it gives us better skin, less cravings, more energy, better digestion, etc etc. But why, oh why is it so hard to keep drinking it all day long? For me, I know how much better I feel and look when I'm properly hydrated. And yet, there are times when it just seems like such an effort to drink water! Not to mention, buying a $2 plastic bottle with all those chemicals leeching in and contaminating my precious H2O? No thanks. Well, this week I've had enough. I looked online to find the cutest water bottle ever and I am challenging myself to drink not just one bottle a day, but up to 5 of these babies. every. single. day. 



I've had enough of a lack of energy, dull skin, poor digestion etc etc.   I am challenging myself to drink more water. Not just when I'm feeling thirsty, but I want to adequately hydrate myself. It really is the easiest way to immediately look and feel better. 


To properly hydrate ourselves, we need to drink half of our body weight in ounces every day. That's a lot of water! 

My challenge for you this week:

1. Find yourself a *glass water bottle that you will take with you everywhere. I searched and found this bottle that I am loving.

2. Figure out how many bottles you need to drink every day in order to stay hydrated. Take your body weight, divide it by two, then divide that number by how many ounces are in your bottle.

3. Drink Water! I need to fill up my bottle 5 times, every day!

*Side Note: If you haven't heard, plastic bottles are so... 1900s. Not only does it require more water to make that plastic bottle than is actually inside of it, but plastics contain harmful chemicals that seep into your water. Gross. Click here to purchase a glass bottle.
