Beach Barre: Lunges for the Legs

My body might not be getting any better for a few more months (just look at that growing belly!) but that doesn't mean you can't get in the best shape of your life before summer. These lunges are a killer. You'll be pleasantly surprised to find how much you can really feel the burn in both the legs and the booty in only about 2 minutes each leg. This exercise is quick and never painless...

No equipment needed. You can do this absolutely anywhere! If you'd like a little help with your balance (you'll see me wobbling a bit as I get used to my baby belly) feel free to hold onto a chair or wall. If you want to make it harder, finish it off by pulsing in the lunge for as long as you can and try to keep your back knee just one inch off the floor. Everyone, make sure that when you come down into the lunge your back knee doesn't actually touch the mat, but it does come pretty darn close…
